摘要: Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) treatment was examined as a means of improving the efficacy embryo collection in sheep following intrauterine insemination frozen-thawed semen. In summary, consistently improved fertilization rates and number fertilized ova collected per ewe enhanced compared with untreated ewes. The yield ewes treated follicle stimulating (FSH) maximized by administering GnRH 36 h after progestagen treatment; 24 preferred time pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG). There significant (P < 0.001) increase percentage unfertilized former when given at h. An examination (0, 6, 12 18 before median ovulation) indicated that were highest occurred 6 both GnRH-treated ewes, recovery lowest ovulation. motile spermatozoa required for estimated to be approximately 20 x 10(6) uterine horn. GnRH-treatment also naturally mated, although this lower than obtained It is concluded failure, major problem collection, can eliminated through judicious use properly timed insemination.
