摘要: The Kessler Screening Scale for Psychological Distress (K6) has been used widely as a screener mental health problems and measure of severity impact problems. However, the applicability utility this assessments within American Indian communities not explored. Data were drawn from large-scale epidemiological study conducted in cooperation with two populations. Participants (n = 3,084) 15 – 54 years old, living on or near their home reservations; each completed an interview that included version Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) K6. Measures both physical- mental-health-related quality life (the SF-36) to examine importance K6 over above psychiatric diagnoses. was shown be appropriate screening mood disorders these samples.
