摘要: Aims To determine the prognostic significance of age at diagnosis in women with non-metastatic breast cancer. Methods A retrospective review all newly diagnosed cancer between 1975 and 1991 was carried out a tertiary Oncology Referral Centre. Patients were divided into three groups: 50 years. Demographic management/outcome details collected from patients UICC stages I–III. The effect on overall relapse free survival analysed by standard statistical methods. Results Of 1289 new cases registered during study period, 710 (55%) latter group 250 (35%) less than 40 years, 237 (33%) years 223 (32%) older Women younger had higher proportion breast-conserving surgery, adjuvant chemo- radiation therapy, while hormone therapy usage women.
