摘要: After more than forty years since the seminal paper of L.A. Zadeh on fuzzy sets [30], a search term “logic” in top Science journal may be discouraging and claims for an explanation: despite those almost 7000 cites acknowledged by Thomson’s ISI Web Knowledge to such paper, less 20 articles include “fuzzy logic”. And indeed some them not Zadeh’s sense. One these out-of-context is editorial note [4], where F.E. Bloom acknowledges that key acceptance criteria publishing (like existence novel concepts interdisciplinary interest or novelty general significance) are ambiguous criteria, trying below illuminate as editors potential authors with logic behind their decisions. Should we think then scientists can take advantage kind logic”, order evaluate quality scientific but part paper?
