摘要: An estimated 222,000 new cases of lung cancer will be diagnosed in the United States 2010, and approximately 157,000 patients die from disease (1). Despite complete resection curative intent, many with early stage, resectable experience recurrence. Following potentially surgical resection, five-year survival rate for stage NSCLC is commonly accepted to 60 80% I, 40 50% II, 10 20% IIIA (2, 3). Two thirds these recur systemically, remaining one third locally (4). Since recurrent common, aggressive symptom management support utilizing an interdisciplinary palliative care model becomes important aspect care. This paper aims describe role cancer.
