摘要: Nucleoside diphosphatase and 5′-nucleotidase activities were both found to be very high in extracts of soybean (Glycine max L.) root nodules. Both increased early nodule development, prior the rise leghemoglobin, at equivalent levels nitrogenfixing nonfixing Based on a survey other tissues, these highest nodules (1300 nanomoles per milligram protein minute, nucleoside 500 5′-nucleotidase), but they not always associated with each other; some tissues one was low. Neither activity correlated well ureide production; seem, rather, primarily involved metabolic function. soluble proteins, neither appeared plastids, mitochondria, or bacteroids.
