摘要: The purpose of this study was to clarify the taxonomic relationship between all serovars and species genus Erysipelothrix by performing DNA-DNA hybridization experiments, customary criterion for separation bacterial genospecies. A total 93 strains were isolated from a wide variety sources, including pigs affected with acute or chronic erysipelas, other diseased animals, healthy fish, retail meats, environmental materials throughout world during period 1958 1996. present data on phenotypic characterization DNA relatedness values demonstrate that 24 (96%) E. tonsillarum are avirulent swine, whereas 39 (66%) genomic rhusiopathiae induced generalized local urticarial lesion in swine after intradermal inoculation. This observation suggests has little etiological significance. Three minor groups contained several which exhibited minimal association each type strain tonsillarum. In conclusion, it confirmed members resemble regard many characteristics, but differ their ability produce acid saccharose pathogenicity swine. certainly contains two main species:
