摘要: One of the main issues in management IVF and embryo transfer techniques is to ensure adequate concentrations progesterone. The aim this prospective, randomized study was compare effectiveness 17α-hydroxyprogesterone caproate (17-HPC) administered intramuscularly intra-vaginal progesterone gel luteal phase support patients undergoing IVF–embryo cycles. A total 320 were randomly treated with either 17-HPC (341 mg i.m. every 3 days) or vaginal (90 daily). inclusion criteria use gonadotrophin-releasing hormone down-regulation age <40 years. outcome both groups evaluated for implantation rate, biochemical pregnancy, clinical miscarriage, ongoing pregnancy rate. results showed that conferred more benefit cycles compared progesterone, as demonstrated by most parameters considered. data days appears be effective providing comparison
