摘要: Abstract A five-layer catalyst coated membrane (CCM) based upon Nafion 115 for direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) was designed and fabricated by introducing a modified layer between the layer. The properties of CCM were determined SEM, cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, ruinous test I – V curves. characterizations show that layers provide increased interface contact area enhanced interaction As result, higher Pt utilization, lower resistance superior durability electrode assembly achieved. 75% utilization efficiency obtained using novel structure, whereas conventional structure gave 60% efficiency. All these features greatly contribute to increase in DMFC performance. with new presented maximum power density 260 mW cm −2 , but only 200 mW cm under same operation condition.
