摘要: This paper attempts to design the horizontal noise barrier near window at building facades. Previous results have showed that insertion loss by declines for occurrence of reflection. In this paper, some remedial measures been studied using theoretical prediction Macdonald's and image receiver theory. The model were verified scale models tests. By designing an absorptive top screen models, 17 dB a frequency 500 Hz, 20 dB, 1000 Hz 25 2000 could be obtained. Such performances are higher than previous windows screens comparable with tall barriers or partial enclosures on roadside. is particularly useful in high-rise buildings when cannot built.
