摘要: Horizontal gene transfers (HGT) were considered as common evolution approaches for organisms. However, most HGT especially those among distant species, like microbes to plants, over-estimated because they just identified based on the criteria of Blast searches and tree-species tree reconciliation. Recently, a ligE-type glutathione S-transferase (GST), Fhb7-GST was an from Epichloe Thinopyrum elongatum. To confirm clarify occurring patterns this HGT, homologue conducted. Although TeFhb7-GST not found in other ligE-GSTs only plants but also ameba protozoan. Additionally, likely horizontally transfer fungi LigE-GSTs evolve various fungi, exist some liverworts green algae. Interestingly, all these ligE-GST genes share more than 90% similarities with that fungus Coniosporium apollinis. More that, protozoan Acanthamoeba castellanii have 94.9% similiarity C. Actually, few substitutions two homologues except 111-bp lost A. ligE-GST. All results suggested is important evolutionary method Notably, natural remind us reevaluate transgenic crops.
