摘要: Measles outbreaks have surfaced in Europe during the last decades. Infants <12 months of age were most severely affected pediatric population. The aim this study was to investigate duration maternally derived measles antibodies infants aged 1 12 relation maternal humoral immune status and other parameters. In a prospective, cross-sectional cohort study, 124 mother/infant pairs 63 additional recruited from October 2015 through December 2019. hospitalized university department general hospital. Demographic epidemiological data recorded blood samples collected mothers their infants. Commercially available enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) used for measuring antibodies. Fifty nine percent had vaccine-induced 15% infection-acquired immunity. Eighty-eight 94% unprotected by 5 10 age, respectively. Maternal antibody levels infant significant independent predictors infants’ whereas method immunity acquisition, origin [Greek/non-Greek] not. Our findings suggest that about 90% are susceptible beyond 4 months. To our knowledge, these first Greece reported under current community composition conditions.
