摘要: Psychoanalytic psychotherapy in clinical practice is traditionally a long-term treatment conducted by well-trained psychotherapists. However, very few studies have been published that evaluate the effects of such treatment. To redress this lack studies, 55 individuals selected for psychoanalytic (average, 3 years) were invited to participate naturalistic study. The psychotherapists had mean 15 years professional experience. 36 patients who completed manifested substantial reduction symptomatic suffering and decreased levels character pathology, as measured Karolinska Psychodynamic Profile (KAPP) Scales Personality. Generally, changes not found did engage In therapy group, improvements on eight KAPP subscales defining different aspects character: Intimacy Reciprocity, Frustration Tolerance, Regression Service Ego, Coping with Aggressive Affects, Conceptions Bodily Appearance their Significance Self-esteem, Sexual Function, Satisfaction, Personality Organization. results indicate engaged improved capacity handle crucial life reduced suffering.
