摘要: Abstract A theory is developed for the propagation of two-dimensional unattenuated waves in a system consisting liquid layer overlying an infinitely thick solid. Special attention given to interaction between Stoneley type wave and Rayleigh wave. It shown that discussed corresponds dispersion branch which velocity varies continuously from value lower than sound waves. The possible importance this fact pointed out connection with interpretation T phase shallow-focus submarine earthquakes. physical nature these illustrated by showing they exist at interface massless solid incompressible fluid.
