摘要: A transmission gearbox for a rotary-wing aircraft includes main and variable speed in meshing engagement with the rotor gearbox. The permits at least two different RPMs system without disengaging engine(s) or changing engine RPMs. clutch, preferably multi-plate freewheel unit each engine. gear path drives “high mode” when clutch is engaged to drive high rpm hover flight profile. reduced “low disengaged power transferred through unit, lower flight. may be configured tail that operates continuous speed, changes shaft no system.
