摘要: The british response to the theory of relativity during years 1905–1911 had a different character from responses we have analyzed in Germany and France. For first two period, there was virtually no recognition literature. Following that, some controversy, not as much German However, wide diversity opinion, elaboration, or debate so characteristic response. acceptance hinged upon making it compatible with concept ether. As paradoxical that might be, almost unanimous agreement within British physics community about such program. Almost all physicists who worked electrodynamics behaved similar ways these issues.
