摘要: Hard turning is gradually replacing the time consuming conventional process, which typically followed by grinding, producing surface quality compatible to grinding. The hard turned roughness depends on cutting parameters, machining environments and tool insert configurations. In this article variation of produced surfaces with changes in configuration, use coolant different parameters (cutting speed, feed rate) has been investigated. This investigation was performed AISI 1060 steel, hardened 56 HRC heat treatment, using coated carbide inserts under two environments. depth cut, fluid pressure material hardness were kept constant. Design Experiment (DOE) determine number combination sets parameters. A full factorial analysis examine effect main factors as well interaction roughness. statistical variance (ANOVA) employed combined environment configuration. result reveals that most significant impact rate configuration respectively.
