摘要: The effect of milling on the intrinsic coercive force Ba ferrite powders has been ascribed to (1) thermal fluctuations caused by superparamagnetic fine particles and (2) lattice defects introduced milling. To test these interpretations, Moessbauer absorption spectra angular variation for ball-milled were determined. With increasing time, spectrum becomes ambiguous, lines are broadened; quadrupole-split center line corresponding BaFe12O19 cannot be detected. shows that considerably lowers either nucleation field reverse domain or effective anisotropy both. It is concluded defects, rather than milling, greatly affect powders.
