摘要: A new performance model of the IEEE 802.11 protocol is introduced that calculates throughput, average packet delay, drop probability and time. This validated with simulation results using OPNETTM package. The proposed predicts very accurately since it considers both transmission errors retry limits. effect network size on basic access scheme, in terms time explored.
