摘要: Abstract Thin film tandem solar cells based on amorphous and microcrystalline silicon (MicromorphTM in superstrate configuration) benefit from strongly light-scattering nano-textured substrates. A development methodology for the evaluation of performance Micromorph test deposited such substrates with very different surface shapes is presented illustrated. It shown that growth related defects non-conformal coverage layers restrict choice this photovoltaic application. General guidelines are given study preferred selection geometry MicromorphTM cells. The results indicate application advanced higher conversion efficiencies requires improved deposition process compared to current industrial state-of-the-art.
