摘要: When exposure of the pulp to external environment occurs, reparative dentinogenesis can be induced by direct capping maintain tissue vitality and function. These clinical situations require use materials that induce dentin repair and, subsequently, formation a mineralized tissue. Objective This work aims assess effect tricalcium silicate cements mineral trioxide aggregate cements, including repairing inflammatory reactions over time after in Wistar rats. Methodology two biomaterials were compared with positive control groups (open cavity exposure) negative (no intervention). The evaluations performed three stages; three, seven twenty-one days, consisted an imaging (nuclear medicine) histological evaluation (H&E staining, immunohistochemistry Alizarin Red S). Results therapeutic these was confirmed. Nuclear medicine demonstrated uptake 99mTc-Hydroxymethylene diphosphonate (HMDP) showed no significant differences between different experimental control, revealing non-occurrence phosphocalcium metabolism. study therapies, presence moderate infiltration found decreasing during follow-ups. only verified at 21 days follow-up. therapies slight on third day, increasing throughout observed seventh follow-up time. Conclusions (WhiteProRoot®MTA) (Biodentine™) present reversible signs tissue, However, exacerbated induction biomaterial may lead calcifications.
