摘要: Occurrence of sex-reversal (38,XX; SRY-negative) cases in the progeny a single boar was observed. Altogether 11 intersexes, originating from nine litters, given by sows were found. The breeder classified individuals as females with enlarged clitoris. In addition, it noticed that anus joined vulva. Moreover, scrotum-like structure one or two gonads present. Cytogenetic evaluation carried out for sire, five dams and seven intersexes. study revealed normal male karyotype (38,XY) sire female (38,XX) Molecular detection presence SRY gene dams, 10 intersexes 28 phenotypically siblings. present genotype Three subjected to detailed anatomical histological examinations, after slaughter local slaughterhouse. Gonads testes well-developed epididymis, however, without spermatogenetic activity. properly developed uterus ducti deferens observed, but oviducts not collected data indicate status caused an unknown autosome, recessive mutation. Genetic background this type intersexuality is discussed study.
