摘要: This paper describes the implementation of integer discrete cosine transform (IntDCT) using Walsh-Hadamard and lifting scheme. The is in forms shifts adds, all internal nodes have finite precision. A general-purpose scheme 8-pt IntDCT with complexity 45 adds 18 proposed which gives comparable performance to floating-point DCT (FloatDCT). For this particular 8-bit input, perfect reconstruction (PR) preserved even when are limited 16-bit words, rendering Pentium MMX optimization possible. Implementation has been done incorporate into H.263+ coder, resulting system performs equally well as original. Further extension MPEG coder straightforward. reversible, a low level power consumption, very suitable for source coding, communication, etc. mobile environment.
