Effect of Molar Ratio of MgO/Al2O3 on the Performance of MgO-Al2O3-Fe2O3 Composite

摘要: The MgO-Al2O3-Fe2O3 composite was prepared at 1600°C for 3h with magnesia powder and alumina as raw materials ferric oxide additive. effect of the molar ratio MgO/Al2O3 on sintering thermal shock resistance studied. results showed that increasing could improve densification Al2O3-Fe2O3 composites, increased from 3 to 5, composites didn't but decreased. optimum is equal 3, sample MA-3 exhibits better resistance. Its primary crystal phases are spinel periclase, less amount sosoloid 20MgO·19Al2O3·Fe2O3. So, acceptable application in cement rotary kiln linings high temperature gas filter support.
