摘要: Facilitating the acquisition of small targets is an active area research. Despite usefulness techniques proposed so far, we show why this topic can benefit from more fundamental work. We investigate three factors that might account for observed drop in performance when selecting targets: motor accuracy, visual legibility and quantization. Our findings suggest size as important scale quantization has almost no effect. also ‐ by Welford 1969 inaccuracy well-modeled subtracting a “tremor” constant target size. conclude with implications design.
