摘要: Research efforts investigating the potential of natural compounds in fight against cancer are growing. Tannic acid (TA) belongs to class hydrolysable tannins and is found numerous plants foods. TA a potent collagen cross-linking agent; purpose this study was generate TA-cross-linked beads assess effects on breast cell growth. Collagen were stable at body temperature following crosslinking. Exposure with higher levels inhibited proliferation induced apoptosis normal cells. TA-induced involved activation caspase 3/7 9 but not 8. Breast cells expressing estrogen receptor more susceptible TA. Taken together results suggest that has become an anti-ER+ treatment or preventative agent.
