摘要: BACKGROUND/AIMS: The efficacy of palliative gastrectomy in gastric cancer with peritoneal metastases remains uncertain. aim the present study was to evaluate benefits on postoperative course patients and simultaneous distant peritoneum. METHODOLOGY: A total 122 who had peritoneum were studied respect survival. RESULTS: extent did not significantly affect prognosis. Moreover, multivariate analysis indicated that surgery without only significant prognostic factor (relative risk, 2.587). CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest decision perform does depend metastasis cancer. Furthermore, gastrectomy, if feasible, seems have a beneficial effect is for regardless peritoneum, primary tumor surgically resectable there no evidence liver metastasis.
