摘要: Abstract The notion of ‘fuel poverty’, referring to affordable warmth, underpins established research and policy agendas in the UK has been extremely influential worldwide. In this context, British researchers, official policymaking bodies NGOs have put forward ‘transport building on an implicit analogy between (recognised) fuel poverty (neglected) transport affordability issues. However, conceptual similarities differences 'fuel' 'transport' remain largely unaddressed UK. This paper systematically compares contrasts two concepts, examining critically assumption a simple equivalence them. We illustrate under four headings: (i) negative consequences lack warmth access; (ii) drivers poverty; (iii) definition measurement; (iv) interventions.
