摘要: SBA-15 mesoporous silica was modified using (3-aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane (APTMS) following co-condensation or grafting methods and then used as a NO(2) adsorbent at room temperature. The samples were characterized before after exposure to by SEM-EDX, N(2) adsorption 77 K, potentiometric titration, thermal analysis, FTIR spectroscopy. Even though, regardless of the synthesis route, addition propylamine groups leads significant enhancement in amount adsorbed (from 21 124 mg(NO(2))/g), higher retention NO (released result surface reactions) measured on grafted than all co-condensed samples. In case latter materials, improvements both capacity found for treated with NaOH. This behavior is related reactivity deprotonated (formed during NaOH treatment) NO(2), presence silanol groups, residual sodium present mechanism involves formation nitramine and/or nitrosamine. Analysis spent materials indicates that porosity not affected same extent silica.
