摘要: Abstract The dynamics of a mesoscopic system two-level Rydberg atoms, in resonant interaction with microwave cavity mode and coherent injected signal, is described terms Maxwell-Bloch equations atomic propagation. When the operates as an absorber, cooperation can induce multistability well temporal instability self-pulsing, quite differently from standard absorptive optical bistability. self-pulsing behaviour discussed detail. At boundaries numerically calculated values oscillation frequency turn out to be excellent agreement those predicted by linear stability analysis.
