Effectiveness of Naturopathic Interventions on Reducing the Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate in Patients with Chronic Inflammatory Disorders

摘要: Introduction                  Chronic inflammation has proven to be the predecessor of all life threatening chronic diseases. Minimizing clinical as well subclinical may result in prevention or reversal such Naturopathic medicine (NM), a non pharmacological approach can used alleviate these and prevent related disorders. However, there is no adequate evidence available prove use naturopathy treating inflammation. This study aimed at testing efficacy NM reducing Erythrocyte Sedimentation rate (ESR) C-reactive protein(CRP). Materials & Methods 118 subjects with inflammatory disorders (CID) were screened out which 31 (Male=13, female=18) recruited for study. They provided 2 weeks naturopathic interventions National institute Naturopathy patient department. ESR CRP measured baseline post intervention on 14 th day. Results 23 (Male=5, completed There was significant reduction level (t= 1.54E-06), where remained same. Conclusion Two CID shown reduce level, indicates possible role preventing easing control group this No attempts have been made record subjective changes follow up also not done, are major limitations study.
