Synthesis and photoluminescence of multicolor tunable K3Gd(VO4)2:Eu3+ phosphors

摘要: Abstract Eu 3+ -activated novel potassium gadolinium double vanadates K 3 Gd(VO 4 ) 2 phosphors have been synthesized via solid-state reaction. The crystal phase, surface morphology and photoluminescence properties of the phosphor were investigated. X-ray diffraction results demonstrate that Gd 1− x (VO has monoclinic structure with space group p21/m(11). emission spectra suggest present an intense charge transfer band at 314 nm a strong red ( 5 D 0  →  7 F transition) 617 nm. optimum doping concentration ions in is around 50 mol% major mechanism for quenching exchange interaction. emitting light color can be tunable by varying excitation wavelength warm white achieved 337 nm. luminescence may potential applications as materials w-LEDs solid state lighting.
