摘要: Generally, the present invention is an optically controlled optical waveguide circuit comprising a substrate 30, inorganic core 34 disposed within one or more cladding layers 36 upon 30 and active drop-in component 40 non-linear material adjacent to wherein phase of signal may be modulated by controlling index refraction region. An embodiment uses with silica as provide modulator for Mach-Zender interferometer which can used implement high speed low loss switching signals.
