摘要: 4-Mercaptopyridine (4MPy) self-assembled on Au(111) has been studied by in situ electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy (EC-STM) HClO4, cyclic voltammetry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and density functional theory (DFT). Samples prepared varying the immersion time at constant concentration named short (30 s) long (3 min) adsorption have studied. Cyclic voltammetry XPS showed that chemistry of adsorbed molecules does not depend resulting a well established chemisorbed thiol monolayer Au(111). EC-STM study sample revealed new structure after cathodic desorption/readsorption sweep, which remains stable only if potential is kept negative to zero charge (EPZC). DFT calculations shown correlation between observed dense weakly phase with surface coverage θ = 0.4 (5 × √3) lattice configuration. At ...
