摘要: This article examines the circumstances in which individual members of ethnic and racial minority communities believe it is acceptable to go outside law by resorting violence. Analyzing attitudes a random sample young British men who belong minorities, we study towards two forms We address violence as form social control tool for change, e.g., through violent protests or terrorism. Although both are matters ongoing concern, influence state - particularly behavior legitimacy police upon public poorly understood. reject hypothesis that solely products psychology, class, immediate circumstances. argue its agents influences change.
