摘要: The new CSIRO Hopkinson Bar Facility has been commissioned at the Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies in Brisbane, Australia. Similar devices, such as Ultra Fast Load Cell (UFLC) Utah Comminution have proven to be extremely useful providing fundamental breakage data of particulate material. In addition its 19 mm and 60 diameter bars, facility includes a large 100 Bar. This carbon steel load cell is instrumented with highly sensitive semi-conductor strain gauges that give it force resolution less than Newtons, permitting precise measurement energy fracture mineral particles. device's ability measure properties, first energy, particles up unique. Breakage iron ores over wide size range presented. well known comminution result increasing particle strength decreasing was confirmed tested. influence ore mineralogy texture also noted.
