摘要: This work is a further study of our previous on liquid-metal based micro electroosmotic flow pump. Injection room temperature liquid metal (gallium alloy) into microchannels can provide simple, rapid and low-cost technique for electrode fabrication pumps. In the pump, channels are fabricated symmetrically to both sides pumping channel in same horizontal level. micropump, PDMS was used fabricate microfluidic chip separated from by gap (≤40μm). Although insulative, small current still found when voltage applied electrodes electrical field successfully drove fluid channel. micropump be very easy integration. focused possibility mechanism this EOF pump see if it long-time running. The experimental shows that works stable perfect running applications such as implantable medical devices.Copyright © 2015 ASME
