摘要: Abstract Background E. carinatus bite is a serious threat to South-Asian countries including India, as it causes the highest number of deaths and debilitating sustained tissue necrosis at site. One our previous studies has demonstrated strong interaction between DNA venom. Therefore, in this study, effect on venom been examined. Methods Here we show that calf thymus interact strongly with inhibits its enzymatic pharmacological activities such proteolytic, hemolytic, hyaluronidase, L-amino acid oxidase, NETosis, hemorrhage, pro-coagulant, lethality. Further, using immunoblots immunofluorescence, study demonstrates inhibition proteolytic cleavage several surface receptors PMNs, PBMCs, platelets by DNA. Conclusions This for first time explored efficient enzymatic, lethal properties naked possible therapeutic application during snakebite management. General significance identifies an effective defense weapon got potential inhibit detrimental effects bite.
