摘要: Abstract Aim To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing the incidence of fracture-related infections (FRI) following surgical management closed open fractures in HIV-positive HIV-negative patients. Methods A literature search was conducted using MEDLINE, ProQuest, Web Science, The Cochrane Library Scopus. Our own files reference lists identified key articles were also searched. We included studies where primary outcome development FRI patients with fractures. Results Eleven for data synthesis. had non-significant increase when compared to (in combined). Open treated pre-antiretroviral era 5.6 times greater risk developing FRI. Conclusion While there few large prospective available suggests that before introduction antiretroviral therapy HIV infection associated infected show an increased
