摘要: Adenomatoid tumors arising in the uterus are not well-recognized and sometimes mistaken for other benign or malignant neoplasms. This study is a clinicopathologic analysis of 12 uterine adenomatoid tumors. Characteristically, they were small nodular lesions (mean diameter 2.1 cm) subserosa outer wall myometrium. Four distinctive histologic types (adenoid, angiomatoid, solid, cystic) identified; each tumor consisted combination one major at least minor type. The proliferation smooth muscle which accompanied some was regarded as non-neoplastic hyperplasia In two cases, foci serosal endosalpingiosis adjacent to tumor. Theories histogenesis discussed, classification type mesothelioma endorsed.
