摘要: An overview of key issues that emerged at the First International Workshop on Ascomycete Systematics is presented. The value various characters used in, and approaches to, ascomycetes in groups are highlighted. main challenges identified for future holomorph concept, use supraordinal ranks, alternative terminologies, improving working practices data capture, meeting user needs, confronting mismatch between available resources knowledge gap.
