摘要: Thrombocytosis is commonly observed in patients exhibiting a variety of malignancies, including pulmonary, gastrointestinal and hepatic cancer. In the present study, correlation between distant metastasis thrombocytosis was retrospectively reviewed 308 cases histopathologically confirmed pulmonary adenocarcinoma. The were classified as having or not, based on their platelet counts upon diagnosis; documented 82/308 (26.6%). A log-rank test indicated statistically significant difference survival compared with not (P<0.001). addition, occurrence period correlated presence diagnosis. descending order frequency, metastases at following sites: Lymph nodes (218/308 patients; 70.8%), bone (138/308 44.8%), lung (93/308 30.2%), brain (67/308 21.8%), liver (46/308 4.9%), adrenal glands (11/308 3.6%) kidneys (5/308 1.6%). Bone occurred significantly more frequently (50/82 patients: 61.0%; P<0.05) (88/226 38.9%). Furthermore, according to univariate analysis, thrombocytosis, weight loss, an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status score ≥2 points, anemia, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, alkaline phosphatase (AKP) carcinoembryonic protein (CEA) levels risk factors for metastasis. According multivariate AKP CEA Therefore, adenocarcinoma have higher thrombocytosis.
