摘要: Surface-acoustic-wave propagation on high-quality AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructures containing a two-dimensional electron system has been examined in the fractional quantum Hall effect (FQHE) regime. The response of to sound wave is found be similar FQHE states that previously studied integral states. However, striking disparity observed at Landau-level filling \ensuremath{\nu}=1/2, where distinctly different from neighboring filling-factor range. We propose phase separation 2DEG may responsible for feature \ensuremath{\nu}=1/2.
