摘要: A C-Scan mode acoustic microscope (C-SAM) and a through-transmission scanning laser microscopy (SLAM) were used to nondestructively evaluate damage in graphite/epoxy composite laminates which has been subjected low-velocity impact. The total delamination area was quantitatively measured for all laminated interfaces through the entire thickness. results from C-SAM SLAM inspection agree with those X-radiographs analytical predictions. Because measurement is nondestructive, can be correlate compression-after-impact strength of impacted specimens, critically important application materials structural design. >
