摘要: This paper describes the dual-layer scalable optical intercon- nection network being developed at Tianjin University. The top layer of is a multiwavelength bidirectional bus, which has large bandwidth and low latency. bus made up passive com- ponents. No wavelength-tunable devices are used. As result, communication latency that mainly determined by fiber length. sublayer single-wavelength ring, high scalability. In each wavelength routing node designed for data transmission between ring bus. Each computer connected to through an interface card. inside decreased using synchronous pipelining transmis- sion. © 2001 Society Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.
