摘要: Abstract This paper presents an approach to determining the optimal set of maintenance alternatives for a network infrastructure facilities using genetic algorithms. Optimal are those solutions that minimize life-cycle cost while fulfilling reliability and functionality requirements over given planning horizon. Genetic algorithms applied optimization because their robust search capabilities resolve computational complexity large-size problems. In proposed approach, Markov-chain models used predicting performance ability capture time-dependence uncertainty deterioration process, operations, initial condition, as well practicality level analysis. Data obtained from Ministere des Transports du Quebec database demonstrate feasibility capability in programming concrete bridge decks.
