摘要: There is no single effective means of assessing arteriovenous access function, although monitoring hemodialysis venous pressure (VP) or measuring recirculation may be some benefit. The present study assesses prospectively the efficacy following peak systolic velocity (PSV) as a measure to detect graft (AVG) stenosis. PSV was measured in 12 patients after new AVG placement and at approximately 2-month intervals. Angiography also performed when elevated greater than 200 cm/sec, VP increased 150 mm Hg on three consecutive readings, 11%. then compared with results from angiography, monitoring, recirculation. underwent 34 studies, followed by angiography 25 occasions. Each patient least one angiogram. abnormal value confirmed finding stenosis angiogram, except for two PSVs 400 cm/sec normal results. were not elevated. During this period, developed thrombosis AVG, angioplasty improvement PSV. We conclude that elevations anastomosis are an screening stenosis, can occur early placement, late findings dysfunction.
