摘要: In agrometeorology and management of meteorology related natural resources, many traditional methods indigenous technologies are still in use or being revived for managing low external inputs sustainable agriculture (LEISA) under conditions climate variability. This paper starts with the introduction an “end-to-end” information build up transfer system agrometeorology, which such must be seen to operate. It then reviews options that LEISA farmers have risk agrometeorological agroclimatological calamities. is based on role pertinent meteorological/climatological parameters phenomena play as limiting factors agricultural production expectations their Subsequently, local case studies given examples preparedness strategies cope i). variable water/moisture flows, including mechanical impacts rain and/or hail, ii). temperature heat fires, iii). fitting cropping periods varying seasons, everywhere appropriate. The ends a series important additional considerations without indicated cannot successful larger scale long run.
