Use of stereotactic radiosurgery in the treatment of gynecologic malignancies: A review

摘要: Recent retrospective studies have reported the use of stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) in treatment gynecologic cancers. SRS uses real-time imaging and high dose radiation beams attached to precise robotic arms target malignant lesions while sparing normal tissue. The purpose this review is examine indications for oncology, current literature regarding cancers, identify future directions research area. Literature on was reviewed using PubMed search engine.
