摘要: We consider a linear polymer in flat membrane exposed to lateral tension ${\ensuremath{\gamma}}_{0}$. The is assumed produce sharp bend the so that its straight state it gives rise symmetric ridge of width \ensuremath{\lambda}= \ensuremath{\surd}\ensuremath{\kappa}/${\ensuremath{\gamma}}_{0}$ , \ensuremath{\kappa} being bending rigidity membrane. calculate effective in-plane energy originates from deformation ridge. parameter controlling as function curvature \ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\kappa}\ifmmode\bar\else\textasciimacron\fi{}/\ensuremath{\kappa}, where \ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\kappa}\ifmmode\bar\else\textasciimacron\fi{} difference moduli Gaussian unpolymerized and polymerized lipid. Depending on value, presence increases persistence length or destabilizes configuration polymer. Destabilization occurs both sides range stability, leading case circular configurations craters with depressed elevated interior.
